Two Friends Stitching on Etsy.com

I bought three of these eco-friendly reusable snack and sandwich bags. They seal nicely with velcro and are easily cleaned by just wiping out the inside. We love these for hiking and throwing in my purse for snacks on the go.

I covet this bag! Her items are so amazing the fabrics she uses are unique and beautiful. Definitely my next tote purchase will be from youmeyou.

Polyvore - My new best friend!

Pin It Now! I love to come up with new ideas for decorating our home. Since we are on a shoestring budget, I like to research ideas to find the best deals. Polyvore.com is an awesome site to create these design collages so you can gather your ideas, enabling you to search for the best discounts. My kind of site! It's pretty addicting :)

How our Garden Grows

Pin It Now! Our organic vegetable garden is thriving! We've never been successful at maintaining a garden, but this year we are doing pretty well. Here's some pictures of the of strawberry plant - with an actual strawberry growing! - and our apple tree that's about to bloom.

Gardening requires lots of water - most of it in the form of perspiration.

Candle Decorating

Pin It Now! I had some plain white candles that needed some "sprucing up" to go with our new decor, so I decided to whip out the old hot glue gun and go to town.

They were very easy to do, I just used ribbon and a piece of black "cobblestone textured" scrap booking paper. I made mine very simple-looking for the living room.

Thanks to fellow Nestie TXsun for the awesome idea!!
