Crafter's Apron

This apron is one of my favorite creations! 

It has 6 different pockets, one that holds your fabric pencil and seam ripper, one for your scissors and the rest to hold all your other crafty goodies. 

This apron also comes with a matching pin cushion that attaches to a velcro piece on the front of the apron. 

Heart Applique RuffleBuns Onesie

There aren't many things cuter than baby girl clothes.  And this onesie is no exception. 

This onesie has a heart-shaped applique on the front.  The back has a sweet little pink ruffle.  It doesn't get much cuter than that!

May Goals

Pin It Now! I'm a little late - well, okay maybe four days! - but I've decided to start tracking my goals for each month. My head is always full of ideas and goals, but I'm not so great about actually writing them down and figuring out a way to best accomplish them. 

So hopefully I'll be able to keep myself accountable - along with your help - and really get moving this month. 

1.  Work out {at least} four days a week

2.  Drink more water every day!

3.  Get my Etsy Shop up and running

4.  Blog at least 3 times a week

5.  Lose 10 more pounds

 

Sewing Fiend

I am a sewing addict!  I would sew 24 hours a day if I could.          I love being able to think up an idea, find the perfect fabric and create something beautiful. 

After my original machine broke, I purchased a new machine in February and I've been taking classes with my lovely friend Jenny, to learn some new techniques. 

But you want to know what my favorite part of sewing is?  The fabric!  I spend countless hours perusing the aisles of my local fabric stores in search of the perfect designs and coordinating prints.  I find awesome deals and buy a little here, a little there and I have accumulated quite the stash of fabulous fabrics. 

Spice Berry Cottage is an Etsy Shop I can spend hours looking at.  They sell designers such as Amy Butler, Japanese Imports, Alexander Henry and Michael Miller.  What I especially love is that they sell packs of half yards of great coordinating fabrics!  Their prices are great and I love their half yard bundles.

So you can only imagine my excitement when I saw they were offering and 8 design half yard set on one of my favorite blog ~ Everything Etsy!  Squee!

I'm a sucker for a good-looking collar. Having 3 dogs and having owned a dog supplies store we have quite a selection around our house, but I just can't stop myself when I see them!

The Mod Dog has me addicted to their gorgeous collars. I connstantly peruse their Etsy shop and daydream of how cute their collars would be on my furbabies.

...And I'm Back!

Whew!  What a busy spring we've had at the Crafty house.  My beloved aunt is moving to our city, so we've been preparing for the 1,000 mile road trip and apartment shopping.  I've been incredibly busy getting ready to transfer to University, trying to finish up all my pre-requisites for my degree and upper-level courses.  We've given our home a face lift with a brighter, fresher look and more citrusy, spring colors.  I guess I'm a busy lady these days!

But back to crafting.  I have some fun projects coming up and a new exciting adventure - an Etsy store!  I've yet to name it, so any suggestions you have I would love to hear!  I will be selling adorable cosmetic bags and tissue holders, along with some curtains made-to-order and some other fun things, all made with bright, lively fabrics and colors.
